Satellite workshop: SSP2011
Following the success of previous International Workshops on Semiconductor Surface Passivation, organized by the Institute of Electronics of the Silesian University of Technology since 1999, the seventh edition of this cyclic workshop will be held on September 11-15, 2011, in Kraków, Poland. As recent meetings in this series, the SSP2011 is organized under the auspices of the Polish Vacuum Society. This-year workshop has also a status of the satellite conference to ECOSS-28.
According to the already established tradition, the forthcoming SSP2011 Workshop will be devoted to reviewing the current achievements and trends in semiconductor surface passivation and processing, as well as to indentifying the emerging and/or future areas of development in this exciting field. The main purpose of the workshop is to provide a forum for both senior and young scientists to present and discuss current research problems, with special emphasis put on the effective transfer of knowledge within personal contacts.
The program of the VII International Workshop on Semiconductor Surface Passivation will combine the invited lectures by renowned experts in the field with the oral and poster presentations by young scientists and students. At the end of the event, a Round Table Discussion is planned on the current achievements and future perspectives of semiconductor surface passivation and processing.
