Call for Sponsors and Exhibitors

All sponsors and exhibitors are welcome to contribute to ECOSS-28. ECOSS-28 will create, in particular, plenty of opportunity to promote new products, materials and equipment related to surface science research. As usually, exhibition booths will be offered, along with other means of effective advertising. The support may include the sponsorship of welcome reception, poster sessions, participation of early-carrier researchers, special prizes, etc.

Exhibition opportunities

Exhibition area will be located in the building of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław at Uniwersytecka Street 7, where the parallel sessions of the ECOSS-28 program and the coffee/tea breaks will be held.

On Monday, 29 August  2011, the official opening of the exhibition area will take place. Stands are to be set up on Sunday, 28 August 2011, between 14:00–18:00, and can operate until the conference closing on Friday lunchtime, 2 September 2011. The detailed plan of the exhibition area will be included in the conference booklet of program and abstracts to identify the companies and location of their booths. A list of exhibitors will also be posted on the conference website.

Two kinds of booth will be available:

Small booth of (2m x 2m) size, as exemplified in the snapshot on the right-hand side. Booking for 1230 Euro per stand.
Regular booth of (4m x 2m) size, as exemplified in the snapshot on the right-hand side. Booking for 1845 Euro per stand.

                 
As a standard, all booths will be equipped with basic furniture. Optional items, such as additional display cabinets, extra shelves, etc. will be available upon request. Power will be supplied to each stand. A storage room will be available for all exhibitors. The company logo and/or name will be placed at the booth front upon submission of the respective high-resolution image.

In addition, a booking includes the following exhibitor benefits:

• Free registration for one company representative with all the rights of a regular ECOSS-28 participant (including delegate materials and conference catering). Further exhibition staff members are entitled for full registration at a special reduced fee of 300 Euro (benefit limited to 2 extra representatives).
• One page black-and-white advert in the conference booklet of program and abstracts. For inclusion, a print-ready high-resolution A4-formatted pdf file of your advert should be provided by 30 June 2011.
• The opportunity to insert one item of promotional material into the delegate bags at a special price of 175 Euro.

Note: Your booking does not cover insurance which should be arranged separately.

Sponsorship opportunities

A variety of options are open to prospective sponsors of ECOSS-28:

Sponsor of the Welcome Reception (1250 Euro)  SOLD

Welcome reception will take place in the splendid Oratorium Marianum hall in the main University building on Sunday, 28 August 2011, between 18:00–20:00. Snacks and drinks will be served to all attendees.

This sponsorship entitles to:

• The sponsor signs prominently displayed during the course of the welcome reception and a small stand for you to promote your company.
• Explicit acknowledgement of the sponsorship in the conference program.
• The company logo/name displayed on the conference website.
• One page black-and-white advert in the conference booklet of program and abstracts. For inclusion, a print-ready high-resolution A4-formatted pdf file of your advert should be provided by 30 June 2011.

Two poster sessions are planned within the ECOSS-28 program. They will be held in the splendid Oratorium Marianum hall in the main University building. Snacks and beverages will be served to all participants.

This sponsorship entitles to:

• The sponsor signs prominently displayed during the corresponding poster session and a small stand for you to promote your company.
• Explicit acknowledgement of the sponsorship in the conference program.
• The company logo/name displayed on the conference website.
• One page black-and-white advert in the conference booklet of program and abstracts. For inclusion, a print-ready high-resolution A4-formatted pdf file of your advert should be provided by 30 June 2011.

Coffee Break Sponsor of the Day (750 Euro)

Two refreshments breaks are planned every conference day. Coffee/tea and cookies will be served to all participants.

This sponsorship entitles to:

• The sponsor signs prominently displayed during the corresponding refreshment breaks.
• Explicit acknowledgement of the sponsorship in the conference program.
• The company logo/name displayed on the conference website.
• One page black-and-white advert in the conference booklet of program and abstracts. For inclusion, a print-ready high-resolution A4-formatted pdf file of your advert should be provided by 30 June 2011.
• The opportunity to insert one item of promotional material into the delegate bags at a special price of 175 Euro.

Sponsor of the Student Grants (450 Euro per delegate)

It is the ECOSS tradition that various sponsors support participation of early-carrier researchers, students in particular. The student grant covers the special reduced conference fee, accommodation in a university dormitory during the conference and attendance at the conference dinner.

Each student grant will be appropriately acknowledged, but if at least three early-carrier delegates are supported, this sponsorship entitles to:

• Explicit acknowledgement of the sponsorship in the conference booklet of program and abstracts.
• The company logo/name displayed on the conference website.
• One page black-and-white advert in the conference booklet of program and abstracts. For inclusion, a print-ready high-resolution A4-formatted pdf file of your advert should be provided by 30 June 2011.
• The opportunity to insert one item of promotional material into the delegate bags at a special price of 175 Euro.

Sponsor of the Satellite Workshop IWSP-2011

Donations

Even if you cannot participate in ECOSS-28, there is always a possibility to support the conference by granting a donation, which will be appropriately acknowledged.
