Open public lecture

In addition to the regular scientific program of ECOSS-28, a special lecture addressed to the more general audience and open to the public will be delivered by Professor Jerzy Kowalski-Glikman from the Institute of Theoretical Physics of the University of Wrocław:

In his talk, Professor Kowalski-Glikman is going to review our current understanding of the micro-world of elementary constituents of matter and of the macro-world of the Universe as a whole. He will also describe the major open problems faced by today's fundamental physics. Finally, he will address the question if there is any deeper meaning which could be associated with our best theories of the Nature.

The lecture will be held in the Opera House on Thursday, September 1, at 17:00. Access free.
